The cookies used on this site, and how to control them.
This site uses necessary cookies (to run the site) and two optional categories: analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) and advertising (Google Signals). Each category can be individually accepted or declined in cookie settings.
Necessary cookies
These handle basic site functionality - e.g. remembering your cookie choice and language preference (CZ/EN). The site wouldn't work properly without them. They can't be turned off and collect no personal data.
Analytics - Google Analytics 4
If you consent, the site loads Google Analytics 4, used to measure traffic and evaluate site performance. It collects:
- pages visited and time spent on the site,
- device and browser type,
- approximate location (city-level, not a precise address),
- traffic source (Google, direct visit, referral from another site).
Data is aggregated - it isn't tied to a specific person or sold to third parties. The processor is Google Ireland Limited; data may transfer to the US under the EU's standard contractual clauses.
Analytics - Microsoft Clarity
If you consent to analytics, the site also loads Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use the site (session recordings and heatmaps) so I can find usability problems. It collects:
- mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and taps,
- pages visited, device, browser and approximate location,
- a pseudonymous visitor and session ID (cookies _clck and _clsk).
Clarity masks sensitive content such as form inputs. The processor is Microsoft Corporation; data may transfer to the US under the EU's standard contractual clauses. Details: Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Advertising - Google Signals
If you consent, the site allows Google to associate Google Analytics data with signed-in Google users who have ads personalization turned on. This is used to build remarketing audiences and demographic insights. It collects:
- aggregated demographic and interest data,
- association of your visit with a signed-in Google account for remarketing purposes.
Without consent, this data is not shared with Google. The processor is Google Ireland Limited.
Retention period
Cookie _ga and _ga_* expire after 2 years, _gid after 24 hours. Microsoft Clarity cookie _clck expires after 13 months and _clsk after 24 hours (Clarity may also set the cookies CLID, MUID, ANONCHK and SM). Your choice (accept/decline) is stored locally in your browser and lasts 6 months, after which the banner appears again.
How to withdraw consent
Any time, no reason needed. Click the button below or "Cookie settings" in the site footer.
